conveyor belts for dryers
conveyor belts are used to carry the fabric through the printing dryers. The fabric, which has been printed, is dried inside dryer with hot air.
The belts need to be very resistant as the running conditions are tough : Speeds range from 10 to more than 100 meters/min. (yards/min.). Temperatures which may be as high as 230°C (450°F). Chemical resistance against the colorants and the auxiliaries, as well as resistance against the abrasion created by the rolls inside the dryers and occasionally bad guiding. Nomex belts, Teflon coated fibre glass belts, polyester belts, Ryton belts, PEEK belts are available for printing dryers.
These dryer belts are used on the following machines : Zimmer, Reggiani, Stork, Buser, Ichinose, Kuil, Aztec, Harish, Laxmi, Texprint, Chen Hock Heng,…
